Vicki McMurry studied art at the University of Houston and under masters such as Scott Christensen, Kevin MacPherson, Ovanes Berbarian and Ted Goerschner. Her artwork is currently displayed in corporations, hotels, hospitals, and the homes of long time supporters from over the past four decades. Vicki is internationally recognized through her book Mastering Color, which has been published in English and Russian. She is an internationally sought after artist whose works have been commissioned across the globe. In recent months her artwork is in high demand from Shanghai to the Caribbean. Locally Vicki has been commissioned by the University of Texas, The City of Austin, Laguna Gloria Art Museum, Leander Hospital, Ballet Austin, and the Barton Creek Country Club.
