This weekend we are opening the doors to the estate of Austin writer Sarah Jane English, in an old Central Austin home filled with decades of art, books, pottery, furniture and objects collected over a lifetime. The sale includes an incredible collection of mid-century pottery from the 1960s and ’70s, original art, vintage film and Austin posters, beautiful furniture and lighting, a large collection of Wedgwood china, signed and inscribed books, a handwritten note from Julia Child, and an original 1970s photograph of Willie Nelson.
We also have a separate collection of more than 500 vintage vinyl records from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, spanning just about every genre. It is a great sale for people who appreciate old Austin, music, art, design, books and pieces with some history behind them.
